The COSPRO M1 29 is a robust 29-inch hardtail mountain bike from COSMIC, designed for riders who crave adventure and reliability on rugged trails. Built with a durable alloy frame, the COSPRO M1 29 offers a perfect balance of strength and lightweight performance. Its 29-inch wheels provide superior traction and stability, allowing for smoother rides over rough terrain. Equipped with a precise 201-speed Shimano drivetrain and responsive disc brakes, this bike ensures optimal control and handling. Whether you're tackling steep climbs or fast descents, the COSPRO M1 29 is engineered to elevate your off-road cycling experience.Weight: 15.9kgs Usage: Trail riding/Leasure/Commuting

Entry level hard tail MTB. With mechanical brakes and lockable suspension

The frame is made of Aluminum Alloy which keeps the weight of the bike low. The frame geometry will be perfect for riders to have a comfortable ride. There is a single bottle holder mount on the bottom tube. It will be able to handle bad city roads with the help of 29-inch tyre, but the front suspension is little strong. The grips were very comfortable to hold on to.

The bike give's a comfortable riding experience

Cosmic COSPRO M1 gets 3X8 gearing setup with mostly Shimano components. The 2-speed crank is from Prowheel which is coupled with Shimano Tourney front derailleur and 8 speed cassette is coupled with Shimano tourney rear derailleur. The gearing combination is mostly suitable for trail riding. The gearing setup is good for all riding conditions and can be used for long distance rides as well. The shifters for front derailleur felt harsh when shifting down and needed strong thumb strength to up shift. This gearing might help for any conditions. If using it for long rides, try switching to a smaller width tyre and with less knobs.

A suitable gearing setup for all type of riding scenarios

Cosmic COSPRO M1 has a simple yet appealing colour scheme. The all-metallic blue with fluro green decals which makes it an elegant looking bike. The mesh pattern on the top tube is nice to look at while riding. This is one of the 3 colour patterns available. The bike gets partial internal cable routing. The single cable routed blow the down tube seems to spoil the look of the bike. The bike stands tall and the 29inch tyres looks in proportion to the overall design. The top tube lowering at the seat tube makes it easier to ride out of the saddle on bad trails. Its easy to drop your seat to a lower setting during the trail rides as there are markings on the seat post.

The bike is funky looking will be a good choice for youths to start their cycling journey

The Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes with 16mm rotor are exceptionally good. The bite bring calipers brings the bike to an instant stop. Brakes are very responsive and as the levers are separate from the shifters it is easier to adjust according to our needs to get effective hold during downhill riding. The 6mm(approx.) handlebar width makes it easy to handle the bike on sketchy trails and bad roads. The head tube angle is steep enough to keep the bike super stable. A shorter stem could have been better.

A punchy brake and good handling with tall stance

The bike gets alloy rims with disc brake hubs all in black with white decals. The tyres are 29x2.25 inches and had good grip on and off the road. The rolling resistance on the road was less and was easy to ride. The saddle was wide and had enough cushion to keep you comfortable. The seat post has markings on the back, so it can be used by 2 or 3 members of the family.

29x2.25 nylon tyres from KENDA give a comfortable riding experience

The bike is priced at ₹22,99 with a discount which is a good offer for the ride quality it offers and specs it has. A very good entry-level hardtail mountain bike. With few components upgrades, it will elevate the riding experience.
