Snapshot

The Roadeo A65 is one of the many Alloy framed bicycles in the Roadeo series. This frame has a standard and comfortable frame geometry. This Alloy frame is strong and can take in quite a bit of vibration of the surface to make the ride smooth for the rider on bumpy roads.Urban MTB is what the A65 can be categorized as and it comes with a front suspension fork. The fork comes with a unique and stylish inverted suspension system which was smooth in working with a minimal travel.

The Roadeo A65 comes equipped with Shimano Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. These are entry-level gearing components in Shimano's MTB and Hybrid hierarchy and they performed to their limits during the test ride. On Urban roads riding amidst traffic, these derailleurs were ideal for quick and short gear changes. The EZFire Shimano 21-Speed trigger shifters were easy to use and in easy reach from the handlebar grips.

This Roadeo A65 which I test rode came in a Matte Black frame with Red and Grey as the secondary colours for text and graphics. The graphics in these secondary colours are bright and racy with the colour coded fork, saddle, grips and rims. The unique inverted fork was stylish in design.

This Urban MTB's stopping power is handled by Logan Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were powerful, safe and balanced to use when used on rough and smooth roads. Both interval and jamming of brakes felt in control when used during the test ride. The XMR Alloy bird type 6mm handlebar on this bicycle was both comfortable and wide enough to give the rider an open chested riding posture.

The 26” x 2.1” MTB tires on the A65 Roadeo were treaded enough to generate a decent amount of traction and roll over smoothly on rough urban roads. The 26” wheel size has a low rolling resistance, which is useful for quick and easy climbs. The soft PU XMR Saddle isn’t the most ergonomic but it was cushioned enough to keep the rider comfortable.
