Ducati Branded Bicycles To Be Engineered By Bianchi

Ducati is back at making bicycles again. Yes you heard it right, the leading motorcycle manufacturer known for their stylish and high performance super bikes are going to replicate their magic on bicycles. For this, Ducati have teamed up with fellow Italian cycle giant Bianchi who will engineer these bicycles.

The recent years has brought out a trend of automobile giants partnering with the big names in the cycling industry to tap the luxury section of the bicycling market. Ferrari also recently joined hands with Colnago to manufacture their own collection of cycles.

At the press release to announce this partnership, Bianchi’s CEO Bob Ippolito said “We are very proud to cooperate together with Ducati and use our know-how and experience to produce a bicycle range with such an important brand. Bianchi and Ducati share the same spirit for innovation and the same passion for racing”.

Whilst there is no clear information on when these bicycles will be available in the market, the announcement said that these bicycles will be sold to retailers through Italian distributor Alpen, who Bianchi acquired a few years ago.
