Java is an International Bicycle brand with a wide range of MTBs, Hybrid and Road Bicycles. This brand forayed into India a few years back and has had a consistent release of new Bicycle models every year. Java is known for its stylish design and value-for-money components on its Bicycles. We got the opportunity to test ride the Java J-AIR Fuco Disc 105 and here is what we thought.
Weight: 9kgs
Usage:Racing and Fitness
The Java J-Air Fuoco 105 is built on a super lightweight full Carbon frame. The geometry is race focused and is aggressive, which is needed for fast and compact rides. This frame has a tapered head tube, smoothly welded frame and an integrated seat post clamp. The aero dynamic tube profiles help in the smooth reintegration of air. This full Carbon frame is UCI certified thus making is eligible for professional races. The Aero flattened carbon fork was bladed and helped with keeping the front of the bicycle light.
Java’s designs are cutting edge and futuristic with smooth welding of the tubes. The Bicycle I tested came in a blood red glossy finish frame with Dark black as the secondary colour. The flat aero tube profiles along with the bladed carbon fork and an integrated seat tube clamp immensely enhanced the aesthetics of this Road Bike.
The J-AIR Fuco Disc 105 is equipped with a full Shimano 105 R7000 road drivetrain. 105 is Shimano’s entry into a full performance drivetrain. It sits beneath Dura-Ace, Ultegra and Di2 in the Shimano road hierarchy. During the test ride both at the front and rear, the gears shift cleanly, smoothly and quietly. I never missed a gear or felt the shifter being unresponsive when I needed to change gears quickly. The 2x11-Speed integrated Shimano 105 shifters were easy to use with feather light pushes to change the gears.
The Disc brakes handle the braking power on the Fuco. These brakes were lightweight components and powerful on flat tarmacs and balanced even on wet roads. The Deca Integrated Alloy drop handlebar was of perfect length for optimum control over the Cycle on steep turns and also gives a compact riding posture.
The Michelin Dynamic Sport 700x25C slick tires on the J-Air Fuoco 105 are race specific tires built to be lightweight and reliable. These tires make sure it gives maximum traction on dry and wet tarmacs. They are well supported by lightweight deep-dish Decaf rims.
The Saddle was not only stylish, but has a level of support and cushioning that suits the rider on faster rides just as much as long distance rides. The integrated seat post clamp was shaped aerodynamically.

The Java J-Air Fuoco 105 is priced at rs1,84,390. This Road Bicycle comes with a full Shimano 105 drivetrain and Disc brakes. The lightweight full Carbon frame with a Carbon fork kept the overall weight less at just 9kgs. The design and graphics were aesthetic and the matte finish was smooth and of top-notch in quality. The Java J-Air Fuoco 105 is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a race geometry Road Bicycle for serious speed and competitions.
