Things We Like

  • Smooth shifting 21-Speed Microshift drivetrain
  • Aesthetic design and graphics
  • Heavily treaded Kenda 29” tires

Things We Don't Like

  • The inclusion of suspension lock-out would have helped ride faster on flatter surfaces
Acrolt M600 Pro Frame

The Acrolt M600 Pro is a Hardtail Alloy. The frame comes with a nicely slanting top tube which ensured increased standover height for the rider which makes it safe for the rider on trails. The frame geometry is completely comfort focused giving the rider an open chested riding posture.

Being a Hardtail, the Acrolt M600 Pro comes with a stock X-Light front suspension fork with sufficient travel which helped tackle bad roads and bumpy surfaces on trails easily.

Acrolt M600 Pro Design

The Bicycle which I test rode came with a full Black primary colour with Yellow and Grey as the secondary colours. The graphics were bold and racy which made the Bicycle look aggressive. The matte finish paint job on the Acrolt was of top quality and definitely made this MTB looked premium.

Acrolt M600 Pro Design The Acrolt M600 Pro comes in 3 colour variants; Black/Red, Black/Blue and Black/Yellow
Acrolt M600 Pro Gearing

Acrolt has used Microshift brand derailleurs in this MTB model. Microshift as a brand is on par with Shimano in terms of performance and quality. The Acrolt M600 Pro comes equipped with a 7-Speed Microshift M21 at the rear along with Microshift Mezzo M20 3-Speed at the front. The Microshift drivetrain on this MTB was both quick and smooth in shifting with no lag experienced during the test ride. The 21-Speed gearing system is controlled by Microshift’s TS38 trigger shifters.

Acrolt M600 Pro Brakes and Steering

The stopping power on this Hardtail MTB is taken care of by a pair of Repute branded Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes were of good quality and the rotors and disc plates were powerful in stopping amidst traffic and even on flat muddy surfaces.

The 660mm MTB handlebar was wide and gave optimum control for the rider when riding through fast paced flat trails and also when maneuvering through sharp turns.

Acrolt M600 Pro Wheels and Saddle

The Acrolt M600 Pro comes with Kenda 29” x 2.10” MTB tires. These tires have bulky treads and a uniform tread pattern which provided great traction on trails and flat muddy surfaces. The wheelset provided a faster rolling resistance as well as balanced ride on rough trails.

The stock saddle from Acrolt is ergonomic in design with enough cushioning for a soreness free ride.

Acrolt M600 Pro Wheels and Saddle The Kenda 29” x 2.10” tires can tackle rough surfaces easily

This Alloy Hardtail MTB had an ideal mix of comfort and aggressiveness in the frame geometry and a wide 660mm handlebar. The powerful Mechanical Disc brakes made it easy to stop on muddy trails and wet urban roads. The 29” Kenda tires were heavily treaded and fast rolling as well. The 21-Speed Microshift drivetrain was smooth in shifting and definitely on par with Shimano. Priced at Rs.25,999 (as on 2nd February 2022) the Acrolt M600 Pro is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy an MTB to get into trail riding and occasionally use the same Bicycle on urban roads.
