Things We Like

  • Useful front suspension lock-out
  • Heavily treaded Kenda 29” MTB tires

Things We Don't Like

  • Single frame size
Acrolt M800 Pro Frame

The Acrolt M800 Pro is a Hardtail Alloy Bicycle. The frame comes with a nicely slanting top tube which ensured increased standover height for the rider which makes it safe for the rider on bumpy surfaces. The frame geometry is ideal for a balanced riding posture which is necessary for trail riding.

Being a Hardtail, the Acrolt M800 Pro comes with a stock X-Light front suspension fork with sufficient travel which helped tackle bad roads and bumpy surfaces on flat trails easily. The Lock-out feature allowed us, to ride faster on flatter sections on the Trail.

Acrolt M800 Pro Design

The Bicycle which we test rode came with a full Grey primary colour with Green as the secondary colour. The graphics were bold and racy which made the Bicycle look aggressive. The matte finish paint job on the Acrolt M800 Pro was of top quality and definitely gave this MTB a premium look.

Acrolt M800 Pro Design The Acrolt M800 Pro comes in 3 colour variants; Grey/Green, Grey/Red and Grey/Blue
Acrolt M800 Pro Gearing

Acrolt has used Microshift derailleurs in this MTB model. Microshift as a brand is on par with Shimano in terms of performance and quality. The Acrolt M800 Pro comes equipped with an 8-Speed Microshift M26 at the rear along with Microshift Mezzo M20 3-Speed at the front. The Microshift drivetrain on this MTB was both quick and smooth in shifting with no lag experienced during the test ride. The 24-Speed gearing system is controlled by Microshift’s TS38 trigger shifters.

Acrolt M800 Pro Brakes and Steering

The stopping power on this Hardtail MTB is taken care of by a pair of Repute branded Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes were of good quality and the rotors and disc plates were powerful in stopping on flat middy trails as well amidst traffic on Urban roads.

The 660mm MTB handlebar was wide and gave optimum control for the rider when riding through fast paced flat trails and also when maneuvering sharp turns.
