The Ladybird range from BSA has been a popular name in the Indian market, associated with durable bicycles for young girls and women. We got an opportunity to check out the BSA Ladybird Evita 26, read on for our thoughts.

A 26” bicycle that is ideal for city usage and leisure rides.
Frame - The BSA Ladybird Evita is made using a Steel frame. The low step through design of the frame enables easy mounting and dismounting. A Steel frame means that the bicycle is sturdy and durable. Additionally, the bicycle has an integrated carrier and printed mudguards. The bicycle is available in a single frame size.
Fork - The BSA Ladybird Evita has a rigid Steel fork that is sturdy and durable.
Drivetrain - The BSA Ladybird Evita is a single-speed bicycle, which ensures ease of use, and low maintainence requirements. Furthermore, the bicycle has a chain guard for added safety.
Braking - The BSA Ladybird Evita has V-Brakes at the front and rear. The braking was balanced and safe and the levers are easy to use, and require two-three fingers to operate.
Tires - The BSA Ladybird Evita rolls on a pair of 26” tires that are attached to Steel rims. The tires are thin, which have a good balance of stability, control, grip and speed.
Other Features - Broad and well-cushioned PU saddle, pre-printed mudguards (front and rear), a wire mesh front basket, Reflectors, comfortable grips.
Colours - This bicycle is available in two colour options – Blossom Pink and Periwinkle Purple.

The BSA Evita 26” is a straightforward, no-fuss single-speed city bike for young girls and women. It is an ideal bicycle for leisure rides and short commutes. The frame size and geometry is ideal for women whose height is between 5’ and 5’8”. The BSA Ladybird Evita is priced at Rs. 5,855 (as on 16th May 2019).
