Weight: 15kgs
Usage: City rides/Commuting/Leisure
The frame is made of Aluminum Alloy which keeps the weight of the bike low. The frame geometry is upright and comfortable to ride. There are two bottle holder mounts on the bottom tube and seat tube with screws. It’s a fast paced and relaxed city bike, a very good option for long-distance travel and commuting. The grips were soft and comfortable. The suspension is perfect for all-round use. There is a mounting option for mud guards and stand but a mount for carrier is missing. The bike would be suitable for bikepacking on a budget.
The COSPRO H1 looks elegant and professional. It also has 3 colour options, and each one gets a matching accent on the saddle. As for the geometry of the bike, it stands tall but looks slim. Adjust the position of the shifter brake lever combo for better holding and shifting. The internal cable routing gives the bike a clean look. The alloy 700c wheel set is from cosmic, and has cosmic written in red.
Shimano 3x8 combination gearing setup is very smooth and does not have much lag. The cranks are from Prowheel which has a gearing of 42t, 34t and 24t, which gives a good range for all types of city conditions like uphill, downhill and flat roads. The cassette is 11-32t form Shimano. The ride quality was good, and the shifting was instant.
The Cosmic COSPRO H1 comes with mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotor size and callipers are from zoom. The brake had a good bite and strong stopping power. Make sure to use both brakes together. There are some adjustments needed to get good handling. This bike can also be used for long distance riding after adjusting and setting it up for your body conditions.
The bike gets alloy rims with disc brake hubs all in black and stickered in red. The tyres are 700x32c from Compass metro elite which had good road grip with minimal rolling resistance. The saddle feels sporty and a little hard while riding, and might need an upgrade. The colour matching with the frame on the seat gives it a nice look. Aswell there are markings on the seat post for adjusting the height if it’s been used by multiple riders.
For ₹22,990/- the COSPRO H1 is a versatile bike and does more for the money. This bike is suitable for daily use and commuting and even bike packing.
