Cosmic Bicycles is an Indian manufacturer of Bicycles and is a subsidiary of Nandi Marketing. Cosmic Bicycles use precise engineering and quality standards to create bicycles. The brand is known to make durable, and comfortable bicycles. We got to test the Cosmic Glam 26 (2016), and here is our take on it.
A comfortable, stylish single speed bicycle designed for women.
The Cosmic Glam 26 is made using a traditional steel frame. Though steel tends to add to the weight of a bicycle, the smooth welding on this frame makes it durable and long lasting. The Cosmic Glam 26 points to the fact that it is possible to make a simple no nonsense bicycle for the urban rider with the usage of steel.
This bicycle has been designed for women riders who are looking for a complete upright, comfortable riding position. The low, step-through frame offers easy mounting and dismounting of this bicycle.
Simplicity and comfort.
The Cosmic Glam is a good looking single speed bicycle. The overall design of this bicycle resembles a “cruiser” bicycle, with raised, curved handlebars – making for a relaxed ride. This bicycle has an integrated carrier on the frame and is available in a single colour – a radiant blue.
The handlebar grips match the colour of the frame, and adds a nice aesthetically pleasing touch to the overall look off this bicycle.
Good looking, simplicity.
The Cosmic Glam is a single speed bicycle, which is ideal for commuting. This bicycle isn't the easiest on uphill climbs and will require extra effort to get to the top. The simplicity of single speed bicycles is gradually losing its base with the technological advancements in the world of cycling.

The Cosmic Glam 26 (2016) comes equipped with steel V-brakes, which were okay. The brakes could do with some tinkering to provide additional stopping power. That said, given that this bicycle is meant for city commuting or short leisure rides, the stopping power of the existing brakes is sufficient.
The handlebar on this bicycle is what makes it unique, among other women’s bicycles in the market today. The bicycle comes equipped with a large handlebar that has accentuated curves which paves way for a comfortable relaxed grip, and an upright and very relaxed riding position.

This bicycle comes equipped with 26” Wanda tires which are smooth rolling and comfortable on the roads. The saddle on this bicycle is commendable for a city bicycle. When tested, I found the saddle extremely comfortable – useable for longer periods of time with no trouble.

The Cosmic Glam 26 (2016) is an ideal bicycle for women looking for a comfortable city bicycle for leisure riding or commuting. Its handlebar shape and curvature makes for a completely relaxed riding position.
