Things We Like

  • Lightweight full Carbon frame and fork
  • Smooth shifting Sensah/Shimano 105 R7000 series drivetrain
  • Value for money

Things We Don't Like

  • A tire upgrade would be a definite necessity for tackling wet roads and long distance rides or amateur races
Element Nerone Frame

The Element Nerone is built on a super lightweight full Carbon frame. The geometry is race focused and is aggressive, which is needed for fast and compact rides. This frame has a tapered head tube, smoothly welded frame and an integrated seat post clamp. The aero dynamic tube profiles make sure the trailing edges to aid in the smooth reintegration of air.

The Aero flattened Carbon fork was bladed which helped with keeping the front of the bicycle light.

Element Nerone Design

Element’s designs are cutting edge and futuristic with smooth welding of the tubes. The Bicycle we test rode came in a Black gloss finish frame with subtle Grey and Red as the secondary colours for the graphics. The aero tube profiles along with the bladed Carbon fork and an integrated seat tube clamp immensely enhanced the aesthetics of this Bicycle.

Element Nerone Design This Bicycle comes in 2 colour variants, Black/Grey and Black/Red
Element Nerone Gearing

The Element Nerone is equipped with a Shimano 105 R7000 rear derailleur. 105 is Shimano’s entry into full performance drivetrain. During the test ride both the Sensah 2-Speed front derailleur and Shimano 105 11-Speed rear derailleur shifted cleanly, smoothly and quietly. I never missed a gear or felt the shifter being unresponsive when I needed to change gears quickly. The 2x11-Speed integrated Sensah paddle shifters were easy to use with feather light pushes to change the gears.

Element Nerone Gearing The Sensah/Shimano 105, 2x11-Speed derailleurs worked well and had enough depth for quick acceleration and climbs
Element Nerone Brakes and Steering

The Luce branded Road Caliper brakes handle the braking on the Element Nerone. These brakes were lightweight components and powerful on flat tarmacs and balanced on even wet roads.

The Alloy drop handlebar was of the perfect length for optimum control over the Cycle on steep turns and also provides the rider with a compact riding posture.

Element Nerone Brakes and Steering The Caliper brakes along with the paddle brake levers made the braking experience safe and responsive
Element Nerone Wheels and Saddle

The CST 700x25C slick tires on the Element Nerone are race specific tires built to be lightweight and reliable. These tires provide good traction on dry and wet tarmacs. They are well supported by lightweight deep-dish alloy rims.

The Element Road Bicycle specific saddle was not only stylish, but has the perfect level of support that suits the rider on faster rides just as much as long distance rides. The integrated seat post clamp was shaped aerodynamically.

Element Nerone Wheels and Saddle The 700x25C CST road tires are long lasting and give good traction on tarmacs

This Road Bicycle comes with a Sensah/Shimano 105 drivetrain and road caliper brakes. The lightweight full carbon frame with carbon fork kept the overall weight less at just 9.5kgs. The design and paint job were aesthetic and the gloss finish was smooth and of top notch quality. Priced at Rs.1,15,990(as on 17th June 2023) the Element Nerone is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a race geometry Road Bicycle for serious speed and amateur competitions.
