Hybrid Bicycle
The frame was responsive and definitely helped ride fast and contributed to easy climbing on flyovers and other road inclines.
The rigid fork was bladed in shape and made it light at the front.

FitTrip is an Indian Bicycle brand which entered the market not so long ago. With their focus lying in MTBs, FitTrip have multiple models in their portfolio for different types of terrains and riders. We got the opportunity to test ride the FitTrip Crosstrek 700C and here is what we thought.

The Fittrip Crosstrek 700C is a lightweight hybrid bicycle which is both fast and comfortable to ride on urban roads.
The Fittrip Crosstrek 700C is built on a lightweight Alloy frame. This frame had thin tubes with neatly welded edges. The conventional geometry was comfortable to ride with a slanting top tube. The frame was responsive and definitely helped ride fast and contributed to easy climbing on flyovers and other road inclines. The rigid fork was bladed in shape and made it light at the front.
This lightweight Alloy frame comes in a standard Medium frame size
The Fittrip Crosstrek 700C which I test rode came in a full Black frame with Blue and Yellow as the secondary colours for the text and graphics. The matte finish paint job along with the contrasting Blue/Yellow colours made the Bicycle stand out on the road. The thin tubes and colour coded saddle immensely enhanced the aesthetics of this Bicycle.
The Crosstrek 700C comes in 2 colour variants; Black/Purple and Black/Blue
The Fittrip Crosstrek 700C is equipped with Shimano’s Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. These are entry-level Hybrid Bicycle groupset from Shimano and they shifted smoothly during the test ride with no lags. The Shimano 21-Speed trigger shifters were easy to use.

This Hybrid Bicycle’s stopping power is handled by a pair of Filel branded Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were powerful, safe and balanced on both dry and wet roads. Both interval braking and jamming of brakes felt in control when used during the test ride.
The 680mm Alloy raiser handlebar on this Bicycle was both comfortable and wide enough to give the rider an open chested riding posture.

The Crosstrek rolls on a pair of Compass Saturn Ring 700x35C slick tires. These tires were fast rolling on Urban roads and the tread pattern was enough to get good traction on tar surfaces.
The stock Fittrip Saddle was wide and had a lot of cushioning to make sure the rider is comfortable and soreness free on bumpy rides.

This a Hybrid Bicycle built on a lightweight Alloy frame which is comfortable to ride. The Tourney 21-Speed drivetrain was smooth in shifting .The Mechanical Disc brakes were powerful and balanced on both dry and wet roads.
