Hercules is an Indian Bicycle brand with a long legacy. They have been manufacturing bicycles for children, teenagers and adults with new and refreshing designs and graphics for every year. Hercules has always had simple Single-Speed City Bicycles in their portfolio. We got the opportunity to check out the Hercules Neo 26 and here is what we thought.

A simple single-speed city bicycle which is comfortable to ride and is value for money.
Frame - The Hercules Neo 26 is built on a rigid Steel frame. The frame is strong and also has a simple geometry which gives a comfortable riding posture.
Fork - This bicycle has a rigid fork made of Steel which is strong and can take in the vibrations of the surface.
Drivetrain - The Neo 26 is built on a Single-Speed drivetrain which is easy to pedal and to maintain.
Braking - The bicycle is equipped with standard V-brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were easy to use and also provided sufficient stopping power for safe braking on city roads.
Tires - The Hercules Neo rolls on a pair of 26” x 1.95” rubber tires. These tires were well treaded and capable of rolling on rough surfaces as well.
Other Features - Cushioned PU Saddle, front and rear sporty Mudguards, Quick Release seat post.
Colours - The bicycle is available in only 2 colour options – Grey with Red and White graphics, White with Green graphics.
The Hercules Neo 26 can be ridden by Teenagers and Adults in the height range of 4 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 8 inches
The 26” wheels are fast rolling with a good tread pattern. The Steel frame is strong and has a comfortable geometry for a straight back riding posture without any stress to the back, shoulders and wrists. The cushioned saddle and padded grips add to the comfort level of this bicycle. The Hercules Neo 26 is priced at Rs.6,750 (as on 17th December 2019).
