Hero Lectro as a brand has evolved from just manufacturing E-Cycles to having essential accessories a cyclist will need. Visibility for a cyclist is very important and lights have become essential for any rider to have on their Bicycle. LED lights are powerful and have a longer life. We got the opportunity to test the Hero Lectro Head Lamp and here is what we thought.
The Hero Lectro head lamp is LED powered with 40 lumens. This is a basic entry level light which helps see the road in front for up to 70 metres and also make your E-Bicycle visible for other vehicles on the road. This head lamp is powered by Hero Lectro’s internal Lithium-Ion battery. Hero Lectro models have an extra plug provided to connect to the head lamp and power it. This light can be switched on in 2 ways, a rotated dial on the circumference of the head lamp and also by clicking the 6km/hr button on the Hero Lectro E-bicycle’s controller on the handlebar. This head lamp comes with a standard CE&K certification for quality.
The Hero Lectro head lamp is black in colour and has a retro type design. This head lamp is compatible only on Hero Lectro E-bicycle models. This head lamp comes with a metal clamp which can be screwed on to the holes provided in front of the fork. The clamp is strong and can withstand rough roads without breaking or getting loose.

This head lamp comes with a power output of 40 lumens and a visibility throw of 70 metres. It is powered by the Lithium-Ion battery on the Hero Lectro Electric Bicycle. The clamp given to install the light is strong and can withstand rough roads. This LED light can be switched On using both the dial type rotator on the light and the 6km/hr button the Hero Lectro’s handlebar controller. The Hero Lectro Head Lamp is priced at Rs.1,027(as on 19th August 2021).
