An eye-catchy single speed bicycle, designed for city commute and leisure rides
The Kross Bolt is made using a traditional steel frame. The smooth welding on the frame makes the bicycle durable and sturdy. Traditional steel frames are losing their grounding to alloy and carbon frames, but there is nothing quite like the simplicity and ease of a steel frame when it comes to handling and maintenance. This bicycle comes with attached mudguards.The geometry of the frame allows for a relaxed, upright riding position.

The Kross Bolt has been designed keeping in mind the growing demand for not just performance, but also good looks when it comes to a bicycle. The bicycle we test rode came in a black with green and white decals. The bicycle is available in two colour options – a black with bright green and white decals, and a plain black with white decals. Both have a matte finish which adds to the overall aesthetics of this bicycle.

The Kross Bolt is a simple, single speed bicycle, that is perfect for urban riding and commute. When on the test ride, I found the pedalling effortless and hassle free. Incredible smooth for a single speed bicycle.
As is with many single speed bicycles, riding on hilly terrains/ on elevations might require an additional push to power up the gradient.

The Kross Bolt comes equipped with alloy V-Brakes, which was found to be adequate for city usage, across most weather conditions. The handlebar on this bicycle is relatively wide, allowing for an ‘open chested’, upright riding position. The grips on the handlebar are on the thinner side, and could do with additional cushioning.

This bicycle comes equipped with 26 inch tires which are smooth-rolling. The treading on the wheels allows for the bicycle to go on mild beaten roads with ease.
The city saddle used on this bicycle is made from foam and is comfortable while on the road.
