This brand has an extensive range with numerous designs and colours. We got the opportunity to test ride the Ninety One Storm Shadow 700C 7-Speed Hybrid Bicycle and here is what we thought.

The Ninety One Strom Shadow 7-Speed is a lightweight Alloy Hybrid Bicycle which is lightweight and comfortable to ride on urban roads.
The Ninety One Storm Shadow 700C 7-Speed is built on a full Alloy frame. This frame is well designed, sturdy and lightweight. The frame geometry on the Storm Shadow is the perfect combination of comfort and aggressiveness for a Hybrid Cycle. You will find yourself forward bent to an extent, which ensures that you are in an ideal position for balanced riding. The frame has a combination of circular and tapered tube profiles across the frame sections. This results in optimizing strength at the key joints, while minimizing weight where larger tubing is not required. The Steel rigid fork was bladed and strong enough to handle bad roads.

This Ninety One Storm Shadow 700C 7-Speed Bicycle is a good-looking Hybrid. The frame design and eye catchy tube profiles, along with smooth welds, translates to the Storm Shadow being an aesthetic Hybrid Bicycle. The Bicycle which we test rode came in a full Black primary colour and Grey and White as the secondary colours for graphics and text. The matte finish paint job was top notch in quality.

The 7-Speed drivetrain is a 7-speed Shimano Tourney as the rear derailleur with no front derailleur. Shifting was good across gears, with hardly any lags felt during the test ride. This gear range is ideal for city riding. The drivetrain is controlled by a Shimano EF500 shiftes, which was positioned well and is easy to use.

The Ninety One Storm Shadow 700C 7-Speed comes with Logan Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes were solid in stopping power and felt balanced to use even when jamming them. The levers were also lengthy and had an easy spring action which made it possible to operate using just 2 or 3 fingers.
The wide and raiser Steel handlebar was perfect in length and gave an open chested riding posture, which is ideal for city riding.
The Logan Mechanical Disc brakes were balanced and powerful to use on both rough and smooth roads
The Ninety One Storm Shadow 700C 7-Speed rolls on a pair of Ralson 700x35c Hi-Traction tires that are fixed on to double walled alloy rims. The treading and size of the tires were ideal for city commuting and long rides. The rolling resistance was fast and the tread pattern provided enough traction on wet roads as well.
The stock Saddle has an ergonomic shape, but could have had more cushioning for better comfort.

This is a Hybrid Bicycle with a comfortable Alloy frame which is easy to accelerate and also to ride on inclines. The aesthetic design with a matte finish paint job made the Bicycle look premium. The ride quality was enhanced by an impressive Shimano Tourney 7-Speed drivetrain, fast rolling 700x35C Ralson tires and also Logan Mechanical Disc brakes. Priced at Rs.20,453(as on 26th July 2023), the Ninety One Strom Shadow 7-Speed is an ideal choice for anyone looking to by a Bicycle for fitness, leisure rides and daily commutes.
