We got the opportunity to test ride the Vector 91 Night Hawk 29T and here is what we thought.

The Vector 91 Night Hawk 29T is ideal choice All-rounder MTB suitable for riding on both rough urban roads and flat trails.
The Vector 91 Night Hawk 29T is built around a Hardtail Alloy frame. While Alloy is known to be lightweight, this Bicycle had a good build quality for better strength which was evident when riding on both flats and inclines. The geometry was standard and comfort focused with a mildly slanting top tube.
We can say this Bicycle is an all-rounder and is trail friendly by the functioning of the suspension fork. The stock suspension on this Bicycle had sufficient working travel which is capable of handling rough urban roads and flat trails.
This Bicycle is built on a Hardtail Alloy frame and comes in a standard frame size
The Night Hawk 29T from Vector 91 which we test rode came with Black as the primary colour and Blue as the secondary colour for the graphics and text. The black saddle with a graphic is eye catching and the Black brake cables were a nice touch to keep the Bicycle colour coordinated.
The matte finish paint job was top notch in quality
The Vector 91 Night Hawk 29T comes equipped with Shimano Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. These are entry-level gearing components in Shimano’s MTB hierarchy and they performed to their limits during the test ride. On flat trails and rough urban roads riding amidst traffic, these derailleurs were ideal for quick and short gear changes. The EZFire Shimano trigger shifters were easy to use and in easy reach from the handlebar grips.

The Night Hawk’s stopping power is handled by a pair of Trioblade Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were powerful, safe and balanced on both rough and smooth roads. Both interval and jamming of brakes felt in control when used during the test ride.
The MTB handlebar on this Bicycle was both comfortable and wide enough to give the rider an open chested riding posture.

The Hartex 29” x 2.1” MTB tires on the Vector 91 Night Hawk was heavily treaded to generate a lot of traction on rough surfaces. While the 29” circumference handles the fast rolling resistance, the 2.1” width made sure the Bicycle is stable and balanced on muddy and rough roads.
The stock Saddle had enough cushioning to keep the rider comfortable on bumpy rides.

This is a Hardtail MTB with bright aesthetic colours and design. The wide tires and Mechanical Disc brakes make sure the Bicycle can handle fast rides on rough surfaces. While the Bicycle comes in a standard medium frame size, the riding posture was comfortable. Priced at Rs.19,749 (as on 17th August 2023) the Vector 91 Night Hawk 29T is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a Bicycle for riding on rough urban roads and flat trails.
