The WaltX Summit 29 is built on a strong and lightweight Hardtail Alloy frame. MTB’s are supposed to be strong and often presumed to be heavy but this Alloy frame keeps the weight in check. The frame geometry with its slanting top tube was ideal with a combination of comfort and aggressiveness which is suitable for trails and rough city roads. The longer rear triangle and contoured seat tube on this frame is engineered to provide better agility and performance for the rider.

The Summit 29 which I test rode came in a full Anthracite grey as the primary colour with Orange and Black as the secondary colours for text and graphics. The minimalistic lines and blocks of graphic on the top tube definitely made the frame look stylish. The colour coded suspension fork and saddle enhanced the aesthetics of the bicycle immensely.
The Summit 29 comes equipped with Shimano Tourney TZ30 3-Speed at the front and Shimano Tourney TZ50 7-Speed at the rear as derailleurs. These Tourney derailleurs are sleek and shift smoothly. The Shimano trigger shifters were easy to operate with a neat design and clear gear indicator display.
The Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear were ideal for precise and safe braking performance on rough trails and urban roads as well. During the test ride, when braking on fast turns and wet surfaces, it felt balanced and had a quick response time.
The 680mm Alloy handlebar was wide and gave an open chested riding posture while still being comfortable.
The Summit 29 rolls on a pair of Wanda 29” x 2.125” MTB tires along with Double walled Alloy rims. The treading was bulky and evenly spaced out, giving superior traction on rough trails. The 29” wheel size ensured easy rolling over obstacles.
The stock WaltX Saddle was sporty in design with the perfect length and width to keep the rider comfortable and stable.
This MTB is built on a strong yet lightweight Alloy frame which is comfortable to ride. The contoured seat tube and longer rear triangle provide increased agility and performance for riders. The 80mm front suspension fork comes with a useful suspension lock-out feature. The 29” x 2.125” tire size ensured easy rolling over on trails and rough urban roads. Priced at Rs.24,157(as on 30th September 2020) the WaltX Summit 29 is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a performance focused MTB for venturing into trail riding and also for urban rides.

one of the best 29er available in market right now. Looks good, rides good and quality is top notch. Seat could have been much better. Gear shifting is also good. Very light weight.
Very good 29er. Everything is good except the seat. Matte finish looks brilliant. Go for it
