Hercules is one of the many brands under the T.I Cycles umbrella. Hercules has been around for a long time and has a rich history of being the front runners in the Kids bicycle segment. We got the opportunity to check out the Hercules Rocky ZX 24 and here is what we thought.

A comfortable to ride leisure urban MTB packed with useful features.
Frame – The Hercules Rocky ZX 24 is built around a strong and sturdy Steel frame. The frame geometry is different from a standard type. The V-type top tube makes it a step through like frame design. This ensures the getting on and off is easy for the rider.
Fork -This bicycle has dual suspension, one in the front fork with minimal travel and a rear suspension under the seat which helps absorb vibrations from off the saddle.
Drivetrain -The Rocky ZX 24 is equipped with a single-speed drivetrain and a turbo drive crank which makes it easy to pedal while generating more power.
Braking -The bicycle is equipped with standard V-brakes at the front and rear. With easy to use brake levers, these brakes are sufficient for quick stops on urban roads.
Tires - As in the name of this bicycle the Hercules ZX rolls on a pair of 24” tires. These tires come with a tube inside and have an impressive tread pattern for providing good traction and grip on rough patches.
Other Features - Stylish MTB type bar ends, integrated rear carrier, conventional front and rear metal mudguards.
Colours -The bicycle is available in three colour options – Black with Yellow, Red with Blue and Blue with Green. All 3 of them come in a gloss finish paint job.
The Rocky ZX 24 can be ridden by kids in the height range of 4’ 4” to 5’ 2”
This bicycle has a V-type frame design which gives a lot of standover clearance and also makes it easy and safe for the rider to get on and off the cycle. The single-speed drivetrain is easy to pedal and cost effective to maintain. The 3 vibrant colour variants are impressive. The Hercules Rocky ZX 24 is priced at Rs.6,715 (as on 16th May 2019).
