The Firefox Aztec 27.5D has been designed to appeal to a wide audience. The bicycle we test rode came in a primary colour of Matte Black, with Matte Yellow and Pink decals and branding in White. The usage of bright colours on a black frame accentuated the appeal of this bicycle while adding just the right amount of ‘visual pop’. Additionally, the internal cabling enhances the overall aesthetics of the bicycle. This bicycle is available in two colour options – Matte Black/Pink/Yellow and Matte Blue/Green. The quality of the paint and paintwork appeared top-notch.

Feathered braking and abrupt braking felt stable and controlled with adequate power to bring the bicycle to a stop without strain. The brake levers are well placed and require two to three fingers to operate. The handlebar on the Firefox Aztec 27.5D is a Zoom Alloy 68mm handlebar. Being a slightly wide handlebar enables superior control and maneuverability in crowded riding conditions and control while on trails.
