The Heist X2 (2022) is built on an AL6 Urban Cross Hybrid frame which is the perfect blend of strength and comfort. During the test ride the frame was able to handle the bumps and potholes while being responsive to gradual climbs and fast turns. This frame also offers a high ground clearance at the bottom bracket which makes it possible to ride over curbs without the frame getting hit on the surface below. This is a Cross Hybrid which comes with a front suspension fork. The 63mm travel and a pre-load adjuster which was just about enough for rough patches on City roads. At this price, we were expecting the Heist X2 to have a suspension lockout which could have made the ride faster on flat roads by making the fork rigid. The lack of a lockout is a small negative to a Hybrid Bicycle at this price.

Lightweight and comfortable Alloy frame with a comfortable riding posture
Shimano's Tourney and Acera handle the 2x8-Speed drivetrain on this Hybrid Bicycle. The Tourney at the front is the most basic gearing component in Shimano's Hybrid hierarchy and Acera is two above Tourney. The performance of the gears during the test ride was smooth during the test ride. Though this drivetrain is sufficient for fitness rides and commutes, for the price of this Bicycle an Altus/Acera gear combination would have made more sense.

The Heist X2 (2022) which we test rode came in a full Green coloured frame with Orange graphics in a few places. The minimalistic design on both the top and bottom tubes were elegant. The gloss finish paint job was of top notch quality and gave a smooth shiny finish. The contrasting black coloured fork and colour coded rims made the bicycle aesthetic in appearance.

The Heist X2 comes in a single colour variant; Gloss Green with Orange graphics
Tektro's Hydraulic Disc brakes on the Polygon Heist X2 (2022) were powerful and balanced on Urban roads and felt safe to use even at high speeds. The Hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro are definitely a good deal to get on a Hybrid Bicycle. The Entity handlebar was wide and flat with MTB characteristics and no raise from the middle. This enables more control over the Bicycle while compromising a bit on the straight back riding posture.

The 7x45c tires are treaded as good as any mid-level Performance MTB tires while still being sleek and rolling fast on urban roads. The Entity saddle was MTB specific and had the perfect width and length to keep the rider safe and comfortable.
