The frame geometry and design is what catches your attention once you start riding this bicycle from Bianchi. The ergonomics, design and engineering are specifically designed for mid to long distance riders, who want the ideal blend of performance with comfort. Without sounding too clichéd, the Via Nirone 7 fits like a glove, and was extremely compact, rigid and responsive on the ride. The Bicycle is made from triple butted aluminum with hydroforming technology. The fork is a Bianchi Carbon unit with a bladed design. The frame's build technology ensures that the frame remains stiff while also absorbing a good amount of the feedback from the road, without transferring it to the rider. It also helps in optimal power transfer and directional focus. The other technology used on this bicycle is Kvid, Kevlar (Yes, the material used for bullet proofing), on the fork and the specially designed seat stay, to absorb vibrations during the ride. This technology can also be found on high-end bicycles such as the Bianchi Infinito.

The Via Nirone 7 15 has a super lightweight frame and is extremely compact, rigid and responsive
The Bianchi Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) comes with a very efficient and well-proven drivetrain in the form of the Shimano 15 R7 groupset. The 22 gears on offer are ideal for a Road Endurance Rider. The front derailleur is the Shimano 15, FD-R7-L, 2-Speed along with the Shimano 15, RD-R7-GS, 11-Speed. This coupled with the Shimano FC-RS51 crankset that has a 5/34T combination, gave us enough options for acceleration and inclines. You can expect only the best from a groupset like the Shimano 15, and this aided the well-engineered and designed Bianchi frame.

Design is clearly one of Bianchi's strongest areas as a brand. The Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) is no exception to this. One look at this Bicycle and you can tell that the seamless Italian craftsmanship is right up there with the best. The tube profiling is tapered and has Bianchi's design philosophy of the gently tapered top tube that adds a nice touch. The Celeste gloss colour is used well, without making the bicycle look too bland. Bianchi's famous Celeste colour is used in perfect combination with the Silver graphics. This Silver secondary colour element adds a whole new paradigm to the Via Nirone. The welds on the frame were smooth, which accentuated the top-notch paint finish and decals. This bicycle would certainly rank up as one of the best in terms of looks for a Road Bicycle.

The Brakes would be one of the few areas that the Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) has remained constant. The Shimano BR-R561 Caliper brakes used were efficient and powerful, and at no point during the test ride did we feel the need for any extra braking power. The classic road specific caliper brakes are confidently on par with Disc brakes on a Road Bike in terms of the performance and safety.Being a Road Endurance Bicycle, the steering was not too twitchy like some of the Performance Road Bicycles in the market. This ensured that the Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) gave precise and real world feedback while changing directions.

The tires that have been used on the Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) are Vittoria Zaffiro V 7x25c which ensure the added width aids you on long rides, compared to the 7x23c found on Race Road Bicycles. These are fitted on to Shimano WH-RS1 rims, which are strong, reliable and lightweight. The ride experience was aided with a Selle Royal Velomann saddle that was beautifully designed with a Celeste and Dark black bands on the saddle with perfect ergonomics for comfort.

The Bianchi Via Nirone 7 15 (202)3 has proven itself to be a well designed and engineered Endurance Road Bicycle. What impressed us was the right combination of performance and comfort without any compromise. This means that as a rider, you have a Bicycle that you can decide to use for fast performance riding or for long distance weekend rides. Priced at Rs.1,79,999 (as on 24th August 222), the Bianchi Via Nirone 7 15 (2023) is certainly priced around its competition, but Bianchi's 1+ year heritage combined with its experience at the Tour de France and other World Tour races, ensure that you get as close to a Pro Bike with the Bianchi Via Nirone 7 (2023).Prices and Specifications/Components are subject to change by the brand, without due notice.
