Bike Ark Vibe 700C SS Drop Bar - Review

The Bike Ark Vibe 7C SS Drop bar is built on a Hi-Tensile Steel frame. The Vibe 7C SS drop bar marks Bike Ark's 2nd model in their Road range of Bicycles. The frame's geometry is standard with a straight top tube, which made sure that the riding posture is comfortable and relaxed. These tubes have been welded smoothly and the overall frame has been built in a way for it to handle all bumps of the surface, which in turn will reduce the stress for the rider. The Hi-Ten Steel rigid fork at the front is bladed and strong.

This Bike Ark Vibe is a Single-Speed Road Bicycle. This Single-Speed drivetrain with a 16T freewheel is standard like on any other Single-Speed Cycle. The pedaling was smooth and easy on flat city roads, although pedaling on inclines will be a little tough.

Bike Ark have always been known for their design, since their very first Fixed-Gear Bicycle models. The Vibe 7C Road Bicycle which we test rode came in a full Neon Red frame with Grey and White as the secondary colours for the graphics and text.

The Jemota branded Mechanical Disc brakes on the Bike Ark Vibe 7C SS Drop Bar were sufficient for all braking needs on flat tarmacs. The brakes felt balanced but could have been more powerful.The drop handlebar was wide enough to give great steering control and easy access to the brake levers.

The 7x35c tires used on the Vibe SS Drop Bar are commonly seen on Hybrids. These tire dimensions and profile make this Road Bicycle very well suited for riding on urban roads.. They were slick and fast rolling and the tread pattern gave enough traction to keep the Bicycle safe on uneven roads.The ergonomic stock saddle was designed with perfect length, width and cushion to make sure the rider is comfortable on bumpy and long rides.
