The Firefox Origine 7C has been made using a Hybrid Alloy frame, which is durable, sturdy and lightweight. The geometry of the frame makes this bicycle endurance-focussed while being comfortable, furthermore – a mild hint of aggression which enhances the on-saddle performance. The frame has a combination of circular, tapered and flat tube profiles across the frame sections. This results in optimizing strength at the key joints, while minimizing weight where larger tubing is not required. The frame comes with the added advantage of a pannier rack mount option and a single bottle cage mounting provision. This bicycle has a rigid fork which is designed to absorb vibrations felt from the road, adequately.

A frame whose geometry is aimed at comfort and performance
The Firefox Origine comes equipped with a Shimano Altus Front Derailleur and a Shimano Acera Read Derailleur. The shifting is controlled by Shimano Alivio trigger shifters, which are well placed on the handlebar and are accessible with no strain. When on the test ride, the gears shifted with ease, allowing for crisp, seamless shifting that was extremely responsive with no delay or lag between the shifts. The componentry in this department is impressive.

A hybrid bicycle that is sure to make heads turn
The Firefox Origine 7C comes equipped with Tektro M285 Hydraulic Disc brakes. The Brake Levers were well placed, well within reach, requiring only two to three fingers to operate. The brake levers required only a light pull to ensure effective braking. Feathered braking was smooth with adequate power, however abrupt braking did not feel as powerful and it took some effort to bring the bicycle to a complete stop. The braking mechanism could require more effort in wet riding conditions. The Zoom Alloy 62mm handlebar on the Firefox Origine, ensures a comfortable ‘open-chested’ riding position, as well as supreme control and manoeuvrability of the bicycle in traffic and crowded riding conditions. The bar grips on this bicycle are well-padded and will ensure that the riders palms and hands stay comfortable, especially on longer rides.

Equipped with Hydraulic Disc brakes
The Firefox Origine comes equipped with a pair of Kenda K193 7x32C tires which are attached to Alloy Rims. These tires were found to be fast rolling, making riding the bicycle on Indian City roads a breeze. The light treading on the tires ensures good grip, making it easier to ride on different road surfaces, and in varied weather conditions. The wheels are equipped with a Quick Release mechanism making it easy to remove in a jiffy while on the go. The Stock Saddle on this bicycle was well cushioned, adding to the overall satisfaction of the ride quality.
