At the heart of the Scalpel 27.5 lies a lightweight yet strong 6061 alloy frame, engineered for stability and agility. The geometry strikes a balance between upright comfort and sporty confidence, ideal for both trail and urban rides. The welds are clean, and the frame’s sloping top tube provides better standover clearance for quick dismounts and better control on uneven paths.

The bike features internal cable routing for a neat look and reduced exposure to dirt. Its alloy construction keeps the weight reasonable without compromising strength, and the matte paint finish gives it a premium presence.

The Scalpel 27.5 uses a 21-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain (3x7 setup), giving riders wide gearing range to handle climbs, descents, and straight paths with ease. Shifting is managed through Shimano EZ-Fire shifters, offering crisp gear transitions even under mild load.

In testing, the drivetrain proved reliable on both paved stretches and dirt roads. The triple crankset and 14–28T freewheel provide ample range for casual trail riding or hilly commutes. While not a professional-level setup, it performs smoothly within its category and requires minimal tuning.

The Scalpel 27.5’s design emphasizes comfort for long-duration rides. The front suspension fork with 80mm travel effectively absorbs trail shocks and road vibrations, allowing for stable handling on gravel or bumpy surfaces.

Equipped with mechanical dual disc brakes, the Scalpel 27.5 delivers dependable braking power in both dry and wet conditions. The modulation feels progressive not abrupt allowing smooth deceleration even on loose surfaces.

The alloy stem and threadless headset contribute to precise steering, while the wide 27.5” handlebar enhances leverage for better balance and cornering confidence.

The Scalpel runs on 27.5” double-wall alloy rims, built to withstand impact while maintaining true alignment. The 2.35” MTB tires provide excellent traction on dirt and gravel without feeling sluggish on tarmac.

The wheel setup strikes a sweet spot between rolling speed and off-road grip, making it efficient for mixed use. The quick-release hubs further enhance convenience for portability or maintenance.
