The Jamis Allegro A2 which we test rode came in a Black colour frame with Grey as the secondary colour for graphics. The gloss finish paint job quality was top notch and made the frame look shiny. The graphics and design were simple yet elegant. The thin seat stays and chain stays made the Bicycle look sleek.

The braking components are Hydraulic Disc brakes on the Allegro A2. The Tektro Hydraulic Disc brakes at the front and rear were reliable and balanced during the test ride. The reaction time from the levers to the brakes was quick. These brakes were more than sufficient for wet and dry urban roads and the quality and performance of these brakes were definitely the best in this category of Hybrid Bicycles.The Jamis Alloy flat handlebar was wide and made sure the rider has an open chested riding posture.
