An aesthetic, lightweight and full Shimano 15 equipped race road bicycle with a value for money price tag.

Java Fuoco 3 (2019)

Snapshot

The Java Fuoco 3 (2019) is built on a lightweight butted Aluminium frame. The geometry is a bit aggressive and this is needed for fast and compact rides. This frame has a tapered head tube, smoothly welded frame and an integrated seat clamp. The aerodynamic tube profiles aid in the smooth reintegration of air. The Aero flattened carbon fork was bladed and helped with keeping the front of the bicycle light.

The Fuoco 3 (2019) is equipped with a full Shimano 15 R7 drivetrain. 15 is Shimano's entry into a full performance drivetrain. It sits beneath Dura-Ace, Ultegra and Di2.During the test ride both at the front and rear, the gears shift cleanly, smoothly and quietly. I never missed a gear or felt the shifters being unresponsive when I needed to change gears quickly. The 2x11 Speed integrated ST-R7 Shimano 15 shifters were easy to use with feather light pushes to change the gears.

The Shimano 15, 2x11-Speed derailleurs worked well and had enough depth for quick acceleration and climbs

Java's designs are always futuristic with smooth welding of the tubes. The bicycle I test rode came in a Blue matte finish frame with Yellow and a lighter shade of Blue for graphics and text. The flat aero tube profiles along with the bladed carbon fork and an integrated seat tube clamp immensely enhanced the aesthetics of this bicycle.

Tektro's R313 Caliper brakes handle the braking power on the Fuoco 3 (2019). These brakes were lightweight components and powerful on flat tarmacs and balanced even on wet roads. The stock drop handlebar was of perfect length for optimum control over the cycle on steep turns and also gives a compact riding posture.

The Michelin Dynamic Sport 7x23C slick tires on the Fuoco 3 (2019) are race specific tires built to be lightweight and reliable. The tube compound that Michelin has used makes sure it gives maximum traction on dry and wet tarmacs. The stock Java saddle was not only stylish, but has a level of support and cushioning that suits the rider on faster rides just as much as long distance rides. The integrated seat post clamp was shaped aero and made adjustment easier.

This road bicycle comes with a full Shimano 15 drivetrain and Tektro's Road Caliper brakes. The lightweight Alloy frame with a carbon fork kept the overall weight less at just 1.4 kilograms. The design and graphics were aesthetic and the matte finish was smooth and of top-notch quality. Priced at Rs.84,9 (as on 24th June 219) the Java Fuoco 3 (2019) is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a race road bicycle wit aerodynamic profiling.Prices and Specifications/Components are subject to change by the brand, without due notice.
