The Montra Chord is built on a full Aluminium Alloy frame. The frame geometry is basic and had a cut and slanted top tube which made sure the riding posture is comfortable and relaxed. This Bicycle is categorized as an Urban Sport Hybrid and that is because of this Alloy frame capability to handle rough city roads as the Alloy frame can take some amount of vibration of the surface.

The Montra Chord is equipped with Shimano's Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. They performed well during quick shifts with not much lag. The 21-Speed Shimano Tourney trigger shifters has a good response time and provided smooth shifting. For urban cycling in traffic these gears were ideal.

The Montra Chord which we test rode came in a Ruby Red and Black dual shade for the primary colour, text and graphics. The matte finish paint job was premium in quality with a smooth finish. The Deep Dish Alloy rims gives a unique style quotient to the overall look of this Hybrid Bicycle.

The Logan branded Mechanical Disc brakes on the Chord were powerful and ideal for all braking needs inside the city especially amidst traffic when riding fast. The brakes felt balanced and safe to use when interval braking and jamming them as well.The XMR Steel handlebar with a 62mm width was ideal for this Sport Hybrid. This wide handlebar gives great steering control but lacked the raise which could made the riding posture a bit relaxed.

This Hybrid Bicycle rolls on a pair of Kenda 27.5” x 1.75” tires. The tire profile is meant for fast rolling resistance and to provide a decent amount of grip on tarmacs. The 65B XMR Alloy Deep Dish rims not only add to the aesthetic quotient of this Bicycle but they are also strong and contribute to the fast rolling resistance.The XMR saddle was ergonomically designed and was padded well, which will keep the rider sore free on bumpy roads.
