The Montra Helicon Disc (2019) is built on a full Aluminium Alloy frame. The frame's geometry is basic and had a slightly slanting top tube, which made sure that the riding posture is comfortable and relaxed. This is categorized as an Urban Sport Hybrid and that is because of this Alloy frame's capability to handle rough city roads and can take in some amount of vibration of the surface.

This Aluminium Alloy frame comes in 3 sizes; Small, Medium and Large
The Montra Helicon Disc (2019) is equipped with Shimano's Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. They performed well during quick shifts with not much lag. The 21-Speed Shimano Tourney trigger shifters have a good response time and provided smooth shifting. For urban cycling in traffic these gears were ideal.

The 219 Helicon Disc which I test rode came in a full Black primary colour with Copper as the secondary colour for text and graphics. The matte finish paint job was premium in quality with a smooth finish. The deep-dish alloy rims have always been a style quotient on the Helicon and the same is used on the 219 edition as well.

The Helicon Disc (2019) comes in 2 colour variants; Black with Copper and Cider Copper with Bronze graphics
The Radius brand Mechanical Disc brakes on the Helicon Disc (2019) were powerful and ideal for all braking needs inside the city especially amidst traffic when riding fast. The brakes felt balanced and safe to use when interval braking and jamming them as well. The XMR Steel handlebar with 62mm width is the same as last year. This wide handlebar gives great steering control while the slight raise from the middle keep the riding posture comfortable.

This Hybrid bicycle rolls on a pair of 65B/27.5” tires. The tire profile has been the same for the last 2 editions of this bicycle. The 65B XMR Alloy rims not only add to the aesthetic quotient of this bicycle but they are also strong and contribute to the fast rolling resistance. The XMR Saddle was ergonomically designed and was padded well, which will keep the rider sore free on bumpy roads.
