The Montra Trance Pro is built around a strong Aluminium Alloy frame. The frame strength can be felt when riding, thanks to its top and bottom tubes. Even though it is a little heavy while pedalling, it can withstand the harshest of urban roads. The riding posture was comfortable with a slanting top tube. The bulged seat tube which has been there for a few years now does help a little in absorbing vibrations of the surface making it easy on the back. The Trance Pro comes with a Steel rigid fork which can absorb a good amount of vibrations off the surface.

The riding posture was comfortable with a slanting top tube
The Trance Pro is equipped with Shimano Tourney derailleurs at both the front and rear. These entry-level derailleurs were just enough for the commutes and longer rides as well. These derailleurs are operated by 24-Speed Shimano EF-5 trigger shifters. Shimano Tourney are the most basic gearing components and for the price of this Bicycle an Altus rear derailleur could have been an ideal upgrade.
"
The Shimano Tourney 24-Speed derailleurs worked well and are suitable for commutes and long distance rides
The Montra Trance Pro which I test rode came in a dual shade Black with Blue on the frame with White as the secondary colour for graphics and text. The gloss finish paint job was of great quality which made the Bicycle look premium. The disconnected top and bottom tubes made the Bicycle look a little taller and the bulged seat tube looked unique.
"
The Montra Trance Pro comes in a three colour variants; Victor Blue/Black/White , Black/Neon Green and Black/Neon Red
The Montra Trance Pro has seen the addition of Mechanical Disc brakes from this year. Montra have used Logan branded Mechanical Disc brakes for this 222 Trance Pro. These brakes were powerful and balanced to use on wet and dry roads. The XMR handlebar was wide and with a slight raise from the middle which made for a perfect riding posture. The grips on the handlebar dint have a palm support and might require gloves for long distance rides.

The Logan Mechanical Disc brakes felt powerful and balanced to use on urban roads
The 7x35C Hybrid tires gave great rolling assistance on flat tarmacs and had good treads for safe riding on bad roads. The Double Walled Alloy rims are capable of taking the weight of the rider plus some luggage in case of touring without affecting its balance and strength. The XMR Saddle is designed for comfort, it is wide and well cushioned to keep the rider soreness free when on the saddle for long hours.

The 7x35C Hybrid tires with XMR Alloy rims were well treaded, strong and fast rolling
This Hybrid Bicycle has a strong Alloy frame with a comfortable riding posture. The Logan Mechanical Disc brakes were powerful and balanced to use. The gloss finish paint job and the dual shade combination were aesthetic. Priced at Rs.25,13 (as on 6th September 222) the Montra Trance Pro is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a Bicycle for commuting, fitness and occasional long distance riding.Prices and Specifications/Components are subject to change by the brand, without due notice.
