Ninety One is one of India's leading Bicycle brands. Their range includes Hybrid, MTB and City Bicycles for men, women and children. This brand has an extensive range with numerous designs and colours. We got the opportunity to test ride the Ninety One Bloodwing 7C and here is what we thought.Weight: 16.6kgsUsage: Fitness/Commute

The Ninety One Bloodwing 7c is a comfortable Alloy Hybrid Bicycle with a front suspension and lock-out for riding on smooth and rough roads.

The Ninety One Bloodwing 7c is built on a strong and comfortable Alloy frame. This frame had thin tubes with neatly welded edges. The conventional geometry was comfortable to ride with a very slight slanting top tube. The frame was responsive and definitely helped ride fast and contributed to easy climbing on flyovers and other road inclines.The Zoom front suspension fork is smooth in working and also comes with a useful lock-out feature which is useful for better acceleration on flatter surfaces.

The Ninety One Bloodwing 7c is equipped with Shimano's Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. This is an entry-level Hybrid Bicycle groupset from Shimano and the gears shifted smoothly during the test ride with no lags, perfect for fast and longer rides. The Shimano EZFire 21-Speed derailleurs were smooth to operate.

The Bloodwing 7c which we test rode came in a with Black and Red as the primary colours on the frame with White and Grey as the secondary colours for the text and graphics. The matte finish paint job along with the contrasting colour combinations made the Bicycle look simple yet elegant. The adjustable quill stem and the colour coded saddle immensely enhanced the aesthetics of this Bicycle.

This Hybrid Bicycle's stopping power is handled by a pair of JAK Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were powerful, safe and balanced on both dry and wet roads. Both interval braking and jamming of the brakes felt in control when used during the test ride.The Hi-Tensile Steel handlebar on this Bicycle was both comfortable and wide enough to give the rider an open chested riding posture. The handlebar angle can be adjusted thanks to the adjustable quill type stem.

The Bloodwing rolls on a pair of 7x35C DSI branded tires. These tires were fast rolling on urban roads and the tread pattern was ideal to get good traction on rough roads.The stock Ninety One Saddle was wide and had a lot of cushioning to make sure the rider is comfortable and soreness free on bumpy rides.
