The Ninety One Black Tiger 27.5 Multi-Speed is built around a Hi-Ten Steel frame. This frame has strong tubes which support the bulky wheelset and the ride geometry is comfortable. The slanting top tube gives extra standover clearance for shorter riders.The 91 Tuf Shox Suspension Fork comes with a working travel of 8mm during the test ride. This helps in having a comfortable ride on bumpy roads and trails.

The Ninety One Black Tiger 27.5 Multi-Speed comes equipped with Shimano Tourney at the front and rear as derailleurs. These are entry-level gearing components in Shimano's MTB hierarchy and they performed to their limits during the test ride. On rough urban roads and trails, these derailleurs were ideal for quick and short gear changes. The Shimano trigger shifters were easy to use and in easy reach from the handlebar grips.

The Black Tiger 27.5T Multi-Speed from Ninety One which we test rode came with Green as the primary colour and Gold as the secondary colour for the graphics and text. The bulky 2.4” width tires makes the Bicycle look hefty and strong. The colour coded saddle and fork enhance the overall aesthetics of this Bicycle.

This MTB's stopping power is handled by a pair of Purk Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. These brakes were powerful, safe and balanced on both rough and smooth surfaces. Both interval and jamming of brakes felt in control when used during the test ride.The Steel handlebar on this Bicycle was both comfortable and wide enough to give the rider an open chested riding posture.

The DSI 27.5” x 2.4” MTB tires on the Ninety One Black Tiger 27.5 Multi-Speed were heavily treaded to generate a lot of traction on rough surfaces. While the 27.5” circumference handles the fast rolling resistance the massive 2.4” width makes sure the Bicycle can roll over almost nearly any kind of surface.The stock Saddle had enough cushioning to keep the rider comfortable on bumpy rides.
