: The Polygon Xtrada 7 features an ALX XC alloy frame designed to balance strength, weight and efficient power transfer. Its blue-black colour scheme gives the bicycle a modern, sporty appearance. The hardtail frame keeps the design relatively simple while supporting responsive handling on cross-country trails. The frame geometry is intended for a mix of climbing, everyday trail riding and faster off-road sections. Its overall design suits riders who want a mountain bike that looks purposeful without being excessively complicated.

“A well-designed alloy frame provides the foundation for confident and enjoyable trail riding.”
: The SRAM Eagle 1×12 drivetrain uses a single front chainring and a wide-range cassette, reducing front-shifting complexity. Its 10–52T cassette offers easier gearing for steep climbs while retaining higher gears for faster sections. The SRAM trigger shifter allows riders to change gears without moving their hands far from the handlebar. The simplified single-chainring setup also reduces the number of drivetrain components compared with a traditional double or triple chainring arrangement. Riders can focus more on the trail and less on managing front and rear shifts.

“The wide-range 12-speed drivetrain makes steep climbs and changing trail conditions easier to manage.”
: The 120 mm X-Fusion Migo RC fork helps absorb impacts from rocks, roots and uneven ground. Its suspension travel can reduce the sharpness of bumps reaching the handlebar, helping riders maintain control over rough surfaces. The 29-inch wheels roll over many trail obstacles more easily than smaller wheels of comparable design. A dropper seatpost allows the saddle to be lowered for descents and raised again for efficient pedalling. The alloy hardtail frame remains relatively direct and responsive, although it cannot absorb rear-wheel impacts like a full-suspension bicycle.

“Suspension and large wheels improve trail comfort and control.”
: Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide the braking control needed for cross-country routes and moderate descents. Hydraulic operation allows braking force to be applied smoothly through the levers, supporting controlled speed reduction on changing terrain. The 29-inch wheels and mountain-bike handlebar provide a stable platform for steering over uneven ground. The suspension fork helps the front wheel track rough surfaces, which can improve confidence when navigating small obstacles.

“Hydraulic brakes and stable steering improve trail control.”
: The 29-inch wheel setup is suited to riders who value momentum and stability on cross-country trails. Maxxis Rekon 29×2.25-inch tyres are designed to balance rolling efficiency with grip on mixed off-road surfaces. Their tubeless-ready construction can support a tubeless setup when used with compatible rims, valves and sealant. The Linc Void saddle provides a practical riding position for pedalling and general trail use.

“29-inch wheels and a dropper post improve trail control.”
