Snapshot

The Triad E1 Pro Electric Bicycle is built on a motocross inspired full Alloy frame. The cross-country trail inspired E-Bike is based on the frame's geometry with its cut and slant top tube. This slight curve on the top tube helps get extra standover clearance, easy getting on and getting off the E Bicycle and also makes it compatible for a larger height range. The riding posture is comfortable and the Alloy frame does absorb vibrations of the surface when riding on bumpy surfaces at higher speeds. The E1 Pro comes with a front suspension fork with an impressive 8mm travel. During the test ride this suspension fork helped riding smoothly over rough roads.

The E1 Pro which I test rode came with a 7-Speed Shimano Tourney rear derailleur. Gears in an Electric Bicycle help in keeping up to the battery assisted speed of the E Bicycle by adjusting the pressure in pedalling. These gears are also useful when the battery charge is low or if the charge has run out, as one can use it to ride efficiently. During the test ride these gears shifted smoothly and the shifters were easy to operate.

The E1 Pro comes in full Silver primary colour with Black as the secondary colour for graphics and text. The dark shade of Black blends well with the Silver frame, creating a bright and contrasting look. The battery pack is shaped in such a way that it does not look out of place. The front and rear LED lights were stylish in design and were not only useful features for visibility in the dark but also enhanced the aesthetics of this Electric Bicycle.

The Triad E1 Pro comes with Logan Mechanical Disc brakes at the front and rear. Since Electric Bicycles deliver speeds that require no efforts, braking is an important component, in case one needs to get the E Bicycle to a stop as quickly as possible and in a balanced manner. During the test ride the Mechanical Disc brakes on this Electric Bicycle worked efficiently, giving me confidence to ride fast in heavy city traffic. Both the brake cables acts as a motor cut off, and it responds quickly. The handlebar on this bicycle is 6mm long with a raiser from the middle, allowing for a comfortable riding position. The reach to the console on the left, and the grip accelerator on the right was easy to use, without straining the wrists.

The Triad E1 Pro comes with DSI 26” x 2.” MTB tires. The heavy treading on the tires enabled rolling over any hard surface easy. The 26” tires are great in terms of on road performance as they roll fast and can take on potholes and occasional rough, rugged roads. The tires are sure to work well providing adequate traction on both wet and dry surfaces. The saddle on this E Bicycle was comfortable but could have had additional cushioning.

This Electric Bicycle is built on a comfortable motocross inspired Alloy frame and a powerful 7.8Ah Lithium-Ion battery. This battery along with the brushless motor gives an impressive pick-up and a maximum speed of 25 km/hr. The powerful Logan Mechanical Disc brakes along with the fast rolling and heavily treaded 26” tires make it safe to ride over the roughest of surfaces. Priced at Rs.47,143(as on 9th June 222) the Triad E1 Pro is an ideal choice for anyone looking to buy a rugged and comfortable electric MTB.Prices and Specifications/Components are subject to change by the brand, without due notice.
