The United Vitessa 2.0 is United’s “all-rounder” road bike targeted at cyclists looking for a machine that handles flat roads, longer fitness rides, and occasional climbs without breaking the bank. Built with endurance geometry, a quality component set and finish, the Vitessa 2.0 is clearly aimed at those stepping up from entry road bikes or hybrids, who want more performance without premium price.
“The Vitessa 2.0 strikes a fine balance between value and road-worthiness in its category.”
The frame of the Vitessa 2.0 is made from alloy hydroforming 700C, which gives it a strong, reasonably lightweight base, while allowing United to tune the tube shapes for stiffness in critical areas. It uses an endurance-style geometry slightly more upright than race bikes which helps with comfort during longer rides. Sizes are offered from XS through L, with reach and stack increasing accordingly.
The fork is a full carbon oversized fork, which helps reduce weight at the front and improves vibration dampening compared to full alloy forks. The oversized steerer and drop bar design provide good responsiveness. Stem is alloy, bar bore 31.8 mm. Handlebar width is 400 mm on XS & S, 420 mm on M & L. Drop of bar is 124 mm.
Aesthetic touches like paint-finishes “Cadmium Metallic”, “Bice Metallic” and well-integrated components enhance the look. The saddle is United Strace Thor, seatpost alloy (27.2 mm, 350 mm length) which is standard but serviceable.

Drivetrain is handled by the Shimano Tiagra R4700 group: 2×10 speeds, with a 52/36T chainring upfront and a 12-25T cassette. Shift levers are Tiagra ST-R4700 with integrated brake levers. The rear derailleur is also Tiagra R4700.
This gives a relatively broad gear range for both flats and mild climbs. The 2×10 setup balances between effort and simplicity; for riders doing steeper terrain, you might find the top end a little limiting, but for commuting, fitness or road rides it'll handle well. Chain is KMC X10R. Crank length 170 mm. Overall, performance is sprightly for its class. The Tiagra shifters are smooth, though not quite at the level of higher tiers like Ultegra or equivalent—some gear shifts under load will need more finesse. The drive feels crisp and efficient once dialed in.
“The Tiagra 2×10 drivetrain gives the Vitessa 2.0 the right mix of speed and usability for its price.”

Comfort is one of the strong suits of this bike. The endurance geometry, combined with drop bars with moderate drop (124 mm), gives riders the option to change positions and reduce strain on back and wrists. The full carbon fork helps in mitigating road vibrations.
Tyres are Kenda K152 700 C × 25 mm, 60 TPI, which are quite standard but good enough for absorbing small bumps; wider tyres would improve compliance further, but 25 mm is a solid compromise.
Seatpost being alloy and saddle being a mid-tier component means comfort is adequate, but not plush. Over very rough roads there will be more vibration transmitted through the frame. Reach/stack geometry gives a more comfortable posture compared to aggressive road bikes.

Braking is via Shimano Tiagra caliper brakes front and rear. These rim brakes are predictable and perform well under dry conditions. Modulation is decent; they won’t match the stopping power or wet-road performance of modern disc brakes, especially under heavy load or wet weather. But for many riders who ride mostly in reasonably dry urban or semi-urban settings, they suffice.
Steering is responsive thanks to the oversized carbon fork and well-proportioned aluminium frame. The quick releases (front 100 mm, rear 135 mm) make wheel swapping or transport easier. Drop bar and handlebar width choices allow riders to tune lever control and handling feel.
“Steering on the Vitessa 2.0 feels sharp without being twitchy — good for both straight stretches and winding roads.”

Wheels: Double-wall aluminium rims, 30 mm height, are used. These are sturdy, reasonably stiff, and should stand up to daily use. Hubs use bearing hubs with standard quick release skewers: front 15 mm QR, rear 10 mm QR. Tire size as noted: 700C × 25 mm, Kenda K152 rubber. Inner tubes are also from Kenda.
The saddle, United Strace Thor, is adequately cushioned for its class, but like many stock saddles may not suit all riders long-ride wise. Those with sensitive sit bones may consider upgrading after some miles. Seatpost is alloy 27.2 mm which helps in compatibility with aftermarket comfort options.
“Wheels and tyre combo on the Vitessa 2.0 walk the tightrope between performance and comfort very well.”

If you’re looking for a road bike that doesn’t compromise on essential performance, yet doesn’t push you into premium pricing, the United Vitessa 2.0 is a strong contender. It offers good value, reliable components, and comfort sufficient for both daily rides and longer fitness / endurance rides. For those who can accept a few compromises (braking, saddle comfort, steep hills), it’s a smart investment in this segment.
“For the price, the Vitessa 2.0 delivers more road-bike than most casual riders might expect, without asking you to break the bank.”
