At its core, the Polygon Premier 4 29R features a Polygon AL6 Alutech aluminium frame, built to balance durability, comfort, and everyday practicality. The hydroformed tubes give the bike a clean, modern aesthetic while maintaining strength and stiffness where it matters.

The geometry is tuned for comfort and control, offering a slightly upright riding position that’s great for long rides, trail cruising, or commutes. The 29-inch wheel platform ensures better rollover capability and stability across uneven surfaces, making it equally confident on gravel, dirt paths, or city roads.

The frame includes internal cable routing for a tidy look, mounting points for bottle cages, and disc brake compatibility, reflecting Polygon’s attention to detail even in its entry-level range.

The Premier 4 29R is powered by a 2×8-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain, featuring Altus derailleurs and ST-EF505 shifters paired with an 11–32T cassette. This combination provides a wide range of gears to tackle everything from steep climbs to fast flats.

The Prowheel alloy crankset with 36/22T chainrings offers efficient power transfer and steady cadence control, especially helpful for mixed-terrain rides. Shifting is smooth and reliable - the system feels consistent under normal load and rarely skips when properly tuned.

Comfort is one of the Premier 4’s strongest suits. The upright geometry reduces back strain, while the Suntour XCM suspension fork (with 100 mm travel) absorbs trail bumps and urban potholes with ease.

The combination of 29-inch wheels and 2.1” wide tyres offers excellent grip, traction, and rollover smoothness - whether you’re on gravel, dirt, or tarmac. The frame’s aluminium construction gives a nice blend of stiffness for control and compliance for shock absorption.
